The 24 solar terms, consisting of 12 major solar terms and 12 minor solar terms, were created thousands of years ago by the ancient Chinese to guide agricultural production.

Minor Cold, also known as "Xiao Han" in Chinese, is the 23rd of the 24 Solar Terms on the Chinese lunar calendar and falls on January 5 this year. As Minor Cold arrives, the Spring Festival is also approaching. Most areas in China have entered the bitter cold stage of winter during this time.
